March 2023 Board of Review

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Review (BOR) will hold their organizational meeting at the Grant Township Hall, 8908 Twin Lakes Rd, Cheboygan, MI  49721, Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 9:00 a.m., to review the 2023 tax assessment roll as prepared by the assessor.

The Board of Review meetings for public inspection/appeals of the 2022 tax assessment roll will be held at the Township Hall, Monday, March 13, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Property owners are encouraged to attend the Board of Review meetings to review their 2023 assessments.  Owners and resident taxpayers may protest to the Board by letter.  Letters be received by March 13, 2023.

Contact your Assessor. If you have questions or concerns about your assessment, please contact your assessor. He may be able to address your questions and concerns without you having to appeal to the March Board of Review.

Protest in Writing. Taxpayers are encouraged to submit their protest to the Board of Review in writing to the mailing address provided in the March Board of Review Appeal section of the enclosed Notice of Assessment.
