Grant Township, Cheboygan, Michigan

    The Grant Township Hall is available for rental to all Grant Township residents. Hall capacity is 98 people. A "Hold Harmless" lease agreement must be signed. "Hold Harmless" means the responsible renting party will not hold the Township responsible for any accidents, injuries, incidents or issues of any kind that may arise, on or off the Township property, as a result of alcohol use during the event.

    The rental fee is $30.00 for any use other than a wedding reception. Wedding receptions are $50.00. There is also a $50.00 deposit, which will be refunded upon a satisfactory inspection of the hall after your event. Winter rentals will also incur a $35.00 parking lot snow removal fee.

    The following rules are posted inside the hall.

1)    Do not leave your garabage in or outside the hall. Take it home.

2)    Leave the white tables and cloth chairs in place. Put away all other tables and chairs. 

3)    Turn the fan off. (switch by the thermostat)

4)    Turn the heat down to 50.

5)    Leave the water heater on.

6)    Turn all inside and outside lights off. (switch by the thermostat) 

7)    Return the key to Kathy  Hart, 5606 Cronan Rd., 625-2652. Key must be returned immediately after a daytime event or the morning after an evening event.

8)    No tents, canopies, campers, motorhomes or any outside temporary structures are allowed.

9)    No music after 12:00 midnight.

    Tables and chairs are also available to borrow (no charge) when they are not being used for a hall rental.
