| K.A. Hart, Trustee K. Hempenstall. The purpose of this meeting is to appoint a new Township Clerk because of the resignation of K.M. Hart as of 12/31/2009. A motion was made by Vallance to nominate Karen Hempenstall for the Township Clerk position. Seconded by Karen Hempenstall. A vote was taken: Wooden - yes, K.A. Hart - yes, Vallance - yes, Hempenstall - yes. K.M. Hart had no vote on the appointment. Carried. Questioned if anyone else was interested in the position, with no applications. Discussion of job of Clerk. Because of the Clerk and Trustee on vacation next week, the regular meeting of the Grant Township Board will be on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009. The board agreed on the change. This meeting a new Trustee will be appointed. Motion by K.A. Hart to adjourn at 8:20 A.M. Seconded by Hempenstall. Carried.
