This is a letter received by Township Clerk Kathleen M. Hart from Aurora Gas Company

Through advance purchasing we have been able to keep stable pricing for our customers
throughout the skyrocketing market of the past couple of years. With the market showing signs
of slowing, and due to expanded credits with our lenders as well as expanded storage contracts
with our suppliers, we are pleased to announce a reduction in gas commodity pricing to our
customers for the upcoming season.

We have been able to secure reduced pricing for future gas supplies which will be blended with
existing supply contracts. This new supply will bring our rate to $1.36 per CCF beginning July,
2009. (The bill for July gas will be received the first week of August).(The current price for
natural gas is $1.475 CCF.) Pricing for gas purchased through the 2009-2010 winter heating
season will not exceed this new rate of $1.36. In addition to this reduction we are anticipating a
further reduction in July 2010 to $1.26 per CCF. The rate for gas purchased for the 2010-2011
winter heating season will not exceed $1.26.

Please be assured that we will continue to work diligently toward making careful purchasing
decisions to obtain gas at the lowest possible price while still securing a long range contract for
stability of pricing to our customers. It is our goal to keep everyone informed of these and any
other natural gas issues that may affect residential and commercial budgets.

If you have any questions or would like further information regarding natural gas pricing please
don't hesitate to contact our office at 989-733-6625.
