| August, 2011 Board Meeting Minutes August 9, 2011 |
The Grant Township meeting was called to order by Supervisor Wooden at 7:02 P.M. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all.
Present were: Supervisor Wooden; Treasurer Vallance; Clerk Hempenstall and Trustee Churchill. Trustee Hart was absent. A quorum was present. 4
residents were in attendance.
Additions to Agenda:
Hall Maintenance
A motion was made by Clerk Hempenstall to approve the agenda with the addition mentioned. Supported by Trustee Churchill and approved by all.
Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Trustee Churchill to approve the minutes of the July 12, 2011 meeting. Supported by Treasurer Vallance. Approved by all. Motion
carried.

Treasurer Vallance reported on the following:
A motion was made by Trustee Churchill to approve the Treasurer's report as presented, supported by Clerk Hempenstall and approved by all. Motion
carried.
Speakers:
Approval of Cheboygan County Marijuana Ordinance
Trustee Churchill to gather costs involved in preparing and distributing a Township newsletter quarterly. Newsletter draft to be reviewed at next board
meeting.

Old Business:
Roof Repairs - storage room roof repairs to be eliminated with foam insulation included in storage room repairs.
New Business:
Storage Room Bids:
A motion was made by Trustee Churchill to accept Mike's County Wide Construction bid of $12,908.00. Supported by Treasurer Vallance. Approved by all.
Motion carried.
Maintenance:
Discussion regarding authority being given to Keith Kwiatkowski to perform general maintenance at Township Hall. Supervisor Wooden to contact Keith
and advise of general maintenance needs required at Township Hall.
Pay Bills
A motion was made by Clerk Hempenstall to approve the monthly bills. Supported by Treasurer Vallance. Approved by all. Motion carried.
Adjourn
A motion to adjourn the Grant Township monthly meeting at 8:15 P.M. was made by Clerk Hempenstall. Supported by Treasurer Vallance. Approved by all.

Treasurer's Report:
Treasurer Vallance reported on the following:
- Municipal Money Market cash on hand as of June 30, 2011, $74,049.33. July deposits total $9,625.25. Transfers to General Checking $22,380.00.
The balance on hand as of July 31, 2011 - $61,294.58. - General Fund Checking cash on hand as of June 30, 2011, $2.39. July deposits total $22,380.38. Total disbursements $22,377.36. The balance
on hand as of July 31, 2011 - $5.41. - Investments on deposit total $161,553.24. Total Worth as of July 31, 2011 is $22,853.23.
A motion was made by Trustee Churchill to approve the Treasurer's report as presented, supported by Clerk Hempenstall and approved by all. Motion
carried.
