| April, 2011 Board Meeting Minutes March 26, 2010 |
The Grant Township meeting was called to order at 1:55 PM by Supervisor Wooden. The Pledge of Allegiance was previously recited prior to the beginning
of the Annual Meeting and not recited at this time.
Present were: Supervisor Wooden; Treasurer Vallance; Clerk Hempenstall and Trustee Churchill. A quorum was present. 14 residents were in attendance.
Additions to Agenda
None
A motion was made by Treasurer Vallance to approve the agenda as presented. Supported by Trustee Churchill and approved by all. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Treasurer Vallance to approve the minutes of March 19, 2011. Supported by Trustee Churchill and approved by all. Motion carried.
Clerk's Report
Speakers
Stephen Churchill of the Cheboygan County Planning Commission spoke on the medical marijuana issues facing Townships and Cheboygan County.
Old Business
A motion was made by Trustee Churchill to approve the 2011/2012 Grant Township budget as presented. Supported by Treasurer Vallance and approved
by all. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Trustee Churchill to adjourn the Grant Township April meeting at 2:35 PM. Supported by Treasurer Vallance and approved by all.

- NEMSCA - EDA grant funded projects for Cheboygan County discussed.
- Township Hall Floors - to seek floor cleaning/stripping quotes
- PAC Sanitation bid - a motion was made by Treasurer Vallance to approve PAC Sanitations quote for 25 yard compactor trucks on site for 5/13/11,
5/14/11, 9/16/11 and 9/17/11 for $565.00 per compacted load, tires at $2.50 each, over 17" $5.00 ea., tractor tires at $25.00 ea., batteries at $2.50 ea.
and refrigerators at $25.00 ea. Supported by Trustee Churchill and approved by all. Motion carried. - Strawflower Road Contract - Contract and payment to be submitted to Township Clerk or Treasurer prior to Sept. 13, 2011 monthly meeting to be
forwarded to the Cheboygan County Road Commission. - Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement - A motion was made by Trustee Churchill to approve the Indemnification and Hold Harmless
Agreements for Clerk Hempenstall and Trustee Churchill prepared by MacArthur Law firm. Supported by Treasurer Vallance and approved by all.
