Correspondence:

1. Letter from the Governor on revenue sharing.

2. Black Lake Association Thank you for grant money.

3. DEQ-Huggett Cranberry Farm. Filed.

4. DEQ - Henninger. Filed.

5. Strawflower Lane private road contract from the CCRC.

6. Library Minutes. Read and filed.

7. CCRC Minutes. Read and filed.

Recycling was discussed. The election failed with yes votes 119 and no votes 128. Suggested that talking with Benton Township on sharing with them or purchasing our
own bins at $5,000. Discussion that Grant residents aren't against recycling but against the $24.00 charge. Murphy questioned a different approach of recycling for door to
door pickup. Grant Township will attend Benton meeting. A six month report from Overton or O'Hennely should have been received by the township. 8,000 yards of
recycling already, would have cost $30,000 if went to landfill.

Marine Patrol, Mr. May, was contacted by Hempenstall. Was out on river and lake and wrote 3 tickets. Will make an effort to be on the river once a month.

A Pool Meeting was discussed and any input with questions to bring before the County Committee Planning group. The meetings on a county-wide pool have been
ongoing as to what is needed to build a pool and expenses.

Old Business:

Ambulance cost and Veterans Dept. cost report was given by Page. Filed. Ambulance run of $500 but Medicare only pays $350 with the rest absorbed by ambulance.
Ambulance requesting a .25 millage to be put on ballot in November. This was approved by the County Commissioners.

CCRC came before County Commissioners requesting 1 mil to be put on the ballot which would generate $1,340,000. County Commissioners approved request. Felt
the CCRC funds where short fall. Wooden said allocated monies to different townships and not getting what's allocated in services to our township. Felt that resurfacing
of roads and actual project list of roads by years would have a better chance with the voters of passage and not just general maintenance.

The homemaker position to help families in the county stay together was approved by County Commmission.

Discussion of the 100 feet State law on Election Day. Wooden felt an ordinance in order to change the law for the township and make it 100 feet from the property line.
The issue was discussed with disagreement from Clerk for an Ordinance against State Law. Felt the state law was enough, and added expenses for special meetings,
lawyer and advertising to pass this ordinance. The recycling issue on election day bothered some electors. Page felt he didn't pressure anyone for voting. No motion
made on the ordinance with the majority to leave the state law in place.

Discussion of the property drainage on Huff's property. Drain Commissioner with no report back on the property.

Split Policy  discussed by Wooden with Diane taking splits to Equalization before a deed is final. He felt when asked for a split, it was just permission but doesn't want it
recorded as per O'Connor's property. Discussion by Board of Review members on property assessment at meeting. Disagreement on policy and would like the
Assessor present. Wooden would like an ordinance in place. Further discussion needed with Assessor and more information.

Discussion of Labor day week-end Open House for fire hall by Wooden. No final plans. Hempenstall would like a total of what the fire hall cost when commpleted.

Motion by Hempenstall to pay bills #5824 to #5854  in the amount of $37,047.42. Seconded by K.A.Hart. Carried.

Motion by K.A.Hart to adjourn at 9:45 p.m. Seconded by Hempenstall. Carried.
